EXAKT Terms and Conditions

Payment Terms & Delivery

• Purchase Orders are required.
• All payments must be made in U.S. Dollars.
• Prices do not include applicable taxes. If delivered to a state where sales tax applies, it will be added to the invoice unless proof of exemption is provided.
• All purchases are subject to credit approval.
• For EXAKT Pathology Saws and Thin Section Equipment, payment terms are Net 30 days from the equipment delivery date.
• For EXAKT Three Roll Mills, a deposit equal to 1/3 the purchase price is required when the order is placed, with the remaining balance due in Net 30 days from the equipment delivery date.

Freight

United States

• All Equipment Prices are FOB Destination and delivered duty paid.
• Freight from Norderstedt, GE to the destination is prepaid by EXAKT.

All Other Countries

• All new equipment prices are exclusive of duty and taxes. All applicable duties and taxes (including GST and/or PST) are the Buyer’s responsibility.
• Buyer should designate a Customs Broker to handle the import documentation and collection of duties, taxes, & fees directly from the Buyer.
• EXAKT reserves the right to choose the freight company.

Warranty

The Manufacturer’s warranty is for one year against defects in material and workmanship. EXAKT Technologies, Inc. will provide all parts and labor as required to correct any defects. The one-year warranty does not cover consumables / wear items.

The following parts have a Limited 90-Day warranty:

• Diamond Band Saw – Cutting Band
• Three Roll Mill – Rollers

After the one-year warranty has expired, EXAKT Technologies, Inc. will provide service on a time and materials basis (including travel expenses).  Any parts or consumables utilized, other than items manufactured by EXAKT, are at the Buyer’s risk and may void the warranty. The Buyer accepts all liability for injury or harm due to misuse or negligence by the operator.

Standards

EXAKT 302 and 312 Pathology Saw

• United States: This equipment is certified to meet UL 73 electrical safety standards and carries the ETL(US) Certification Mark and is certified to the European CE Safety Standards and carries the CE mark.
• Canada: This equipment is certified to meet the European CE Safety Standards and carries the CE mark. Equipment may be certified via on-site inspection by Intertek Canada that it meets ETL/CSA Standards.

EXAKT Three Roll Mills

• 80S+, E+, & 120S+ equipment complies with ANSI 65/NAPIM177.1-2007.
• This equipment is certified to the European CE Safety Standards and carries the CE mark.

EXAKT Thin Section Equipment

• This equipment is certified to meet the European CE Safety Standards and carries the CE mark.
• Any other certification by NRTL (National Registered Testing Laboratories) must be negotiated and additional charges may apply.

Miscellaneous

• In the event, any terms and conditions are required other than those listed above, EXAKT Technologies, Inc. reserves the right to requote based on additional demands.
• The Buyer is responsible for providing appropriate personnel for all plumbing and/or electrical connections within the facility, when applicable.
• The Buyer is responsible for the removal and/or destruction of crating and packaging materials.
• A 15% restocking fee will apply to any returned equipment and parts.
• Unless otherwise stated, all quotes are valid for 60 days from the date indicated on the submitted quote.
